Intro Progress

I’ve written about 3,500 words over the last few days as I try to get an introduction together and start working toward my book proposal in earnest for the back half of the month. I’m thinking - entirely based on what I know I still have to work through - the total word count for the intro will be somewhere in the neighborhood of 10k-12k words. Chapter one is currently sitting at just under 17k words and will get closer to 20k by the time I’ve got it in shape to alighn with the introduction and with the proposal document/pitch for the book and its structure.

I know this is all very fascinating to anyone who might read this, but honestly I’ve taken back to blogging so I can keep myself on track. I’ll have content stuff again real soon, and I’ll discuss some of the pitfalls I wrote myself into as I worked through a draft of the book intro AND the proposal itself in case anyone would be interested in reading that.
